Types of Bearing Pads

  • PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene) Sliding Bearings – incorporate a low-friction PTFE surface for enhanced movement; used where large longitudinal or lateral movement is expected.
  • Steel Bearing Pads – high strength, suitable for heavy loads and specialised applications, often combined with elastomeric layers.
